This review of CustomWritings.com has been prepared after an investigation that has involving several facets – a review of the website itself to determine features, processes, pricing, and such, a review of custom writings.com testimonials on the site itself, reviews from other customers that have been posted on social media and writing service review sites, and the results of a “test” order which we placed for an undergraduate research paper. This document is the result of our investigation.

FACTOR 1: Services

Custom Writings states on its site that it has been in business for 8 years, although another page indicates 10 years. It provides comprehensive academic writing services for students at all academic levels, high school – Ph.D. programs. Products offered include essays, papers, research projects, summaries, and proposals, case studies, lab reports, presentations, movie and book reviews, critiques, analyses, annotated bibliographies, coursework assignments, admissions and scholarship essays, grant writing, and capstone projects (i.e., theses and dissertations). They also provide proofreading and editing services.

The services offered are listed on several pages of the site, and there are further detailed descriptions of all products that can be accessed via numerous links at the bottom of the home page.

An additional service, which is common to most reputable writing companies, is the 24-hour availability of a customer support group, by telephone, email, or chat.

FACTOR 1: Quality of Services

Custom Writings customer reviews, both on-site and off-site, are favorable. Generally, customers are pleased with the quality of writing they have received, stating that it is structurally sound, grammatically correct, and of a style that is appropriate for their academic levels. Though, some other reviews, available online are not as positive as they are on site. It makes us to ask a question: Are testimonials authentic?

The site offers guarantees of no plagiarism, revisions, and full protection of identities, so that use of the service remains confidential.

There is a lengthy page on the writers who work as freelancers. There appears to be a rigorous employment process, complete with English proficiency testing and a timed sample piece of research writing. The text goes on to state that writers are rated according to a periodic random check of pages written by an editorial staff, and monthly re-testing of English skills. This monthly testing appears to be a bit unrealistic, and we wonder why a writer who consistently produces high quality writing would need to be “re-tested” every month. This is a bit suspect. The final factor that goes into writer rating is customer feedback which is requested after each written work is delivered. All things considered, our Custom Writings review rates writing quality in a favorable range, which indicates that qualified writers are indeed employed. However, you should think before place any order with them as hiring freelance writers is not a reliable option.

Based upon customer feedback, company policies and processes, and our own experience, we are certainly able to state that Custom Writings is not a fraud or a scam.

FACTOR 3: Pricing, Payments and Discounts

CustomWritings.com prices range from $10 - $48 per page. Prices are calculated automatically as details of the order are entered in the fields of the order form – topic, type of work, academic level, number of pages, number of resources, length, and deadline requirements. Additional fees are charged for a higher-rated writer and other options that can be selected at the time or order submission. There is a method by which a customer can complete a pricing quote before entering the ordering process.

In terms of Custom Writings discounts, we did not at first discover any. Ultimately, however, we did find a permanent discount policy related to loyal customers based upon the total amount spent. 5% is awarded once a customer has spent $500; 10% once $1000 has been spend; and 15% after $2000. Customers reaching these plateaus are provided a CustomWritings.com promo code which they then use as they place orders. We did search the site for new customer discounts or for CustomWritings.com coupon codes for special sales or pricing, but did not find any at the time of our navigation.

Payment methods are a bit more restrictive than other sites. Payments may be made through PayPal, Skrill, and major credit cards. Neither E-checks, not Wire transfer options are available. No customer feedback indicated any issue with payment security, so the CustomWritings.com rating in this area is high.

Addition:  Other Important Features

Customers have several options for additional services, all of which are fee-based:

• A customer may preview samples of an assigned writers work for $5
• Customers may have actual copies of the resources used for a paper for $14
• Higher rated writers may be selected for a high product price

Without any doubt, these additional services are good, but it would be better if Customers could try them for free.

Summary

Our review of CustomWritings.com pros and cons shows a favorable rating based upon trustworthiness and quality. Custom Writing BBB membership is also a plus. Site navigation is easy, and policies and processes are clear. Students will get non-plagiarized custom writing appropriate for their academic levels.
